Subject: Report Roma children from Saraj April 2021
Dear Vula,
I hope that this email finds you well.
I’m sending you an update on what was going on in the Roma community, the children and their families.
Once again Macedonian Outreach was our family and support that we needed. One year ago, Macedonian Outreach took care of food and other basic necessities for the Roma children during the pandemic. Having the support meant that their entire family would stay at home and be protected from the virus. We are happy to say that until the moment of writing, none of the children got infected with the virus. We praise the Lord daily for this.
Three boys, who have been part of the support a child program since they were little, volunteer their time when the pandemic began with the food boxes. They wanted to show their gratitude to Macedonian Outreach for all the love and care for all these years in their lives.
During the food distribution, all the children gathered around the van and wanted to help. Since most of them are too small to carry heavy boxes, but they did carry the detergent. Some of the children found it amusing, even started playing with it like it was a toy. Some of them love the smell of flowers that came from it. All of them enjoy it tremendously.
Before the pandemic, one of our main events with the children is visiting the zoo. Thanks to the Lord we were able to do that this year. Since most of the children had never been in the zoo, this was a new and exciting experience for them. Due to Covid measures the trip was organized in small groups. Nevertheless, the children enjoyed all the animals, backpacks and snacks. They did have a wonderful time.

Even though this past year was extremely hard on everyone, we are grateful for the amazing support and encouragement Macedonian Outreach has been to us and our ministry.
May the Lord bless the wonderful work that you do for His Glory.

The messages from Eastern Europe via Macedonian Outreach communications have been a highlight for me in a difficult year. The good work being done there reminds me that our God is sovereign and even a global pandemic can’t stop His mighty hand from working.
Blessings to all those faithful servants serving these vulnerable Roma communities through this difficult time, you are in my prayers and I thank God for each of you daily.
