In this mission of mercy, The Macedonian Outreach works closely with other organizations, hospitals and doctors.
Providing medication, supplies and care for non-hospitalized patients (and occasionally, hospitalized patients) within the Balkan countries are ongoing activities.

For many years, we supplied food and hygiene products to a Bulgarian special needs children’s home which housed 97 children. At the same time, we hired 14 babbas (grandmas) who came daily to take care of these children. In 2015, the government successfully placed these children in beautiful, newly-built group homes which Vula visited in 2016. Because these homes are scattered throughout Bulgaria, The Macedonian Outreach chose to support one of these homes in Pasardjik where a majority of our work takes place. We provide food and other supplies as well as the salaries for a babba and a grandfather who take care of the daily needs of the children. These caregivers offer outings, daily interaction and individualized attention to the children.
