The greatest need met through The Macedonian Outreach is to supply clothing, shoes, heat, electricity and food to orphans and others in dire need. Clothing and shoes are sent or taken to the Balkan countries year-round.

• Feeding and clothing the needy is one of our largest budget items within this category.
• On an on-going basis, clothing/shoes for any season are collected, packed and mailed to the Balkan countries. Periodically, volunteers will take clothing with them and personally distribute them. Annually, we average fourteen tons of shipped clothing and shoes.

This project covers only a portion of over one million refugees within Greece, a country of 11 million people. There is an influx of refugees due to Bosnian, Kosovar, Georgian, Russian, Iraqi, and other middle eastern conflicts, and especially Syrian.

• In Thessaloniki, The Outreach, along with other donors, helps support Thessaloniki Christian Center (Steki) for homeless and refugees. They also help the Roma church as well as many individuals for physical and medical needs.
• The Outreach also partners with the Evangelical Church in Thessaloniki and Agape Greece to rent and support a Care Center for Refugees. Other than food and clothing, the Care Center also provides spiritual guidance to those who are interested. Local pastors take on the role of Biblical teaching.
• In the Athens area, The Outreach helps support two soup kitchens run by local Evangelical Churches. Additionally, The Outreach helps support the daily needs of Philemon, a rehabilitation & counseling center.
